The square building is more than four stories high, with an area equivalent to a standard football field, and is designed as a column-free building structure. MGM said the carefully designed column-free long-span slanted mesh structure is as if it were “alive”, evolving and responding to changing circumstances, such as visitor behavior, weather, time of day, or seasons.
The world’s most significant immersive space constructed of LED screens spans nearly 1,000 meters across the atrium, displaying digital artwork by MGM and world-renowned artists, including Joel Sartore, MagdaIndigo, and Garth Williams.
To create such an experience, MGM spent months capturing Asia’s natural wonders with the latest filming technology. Produce over seven hours of exclusive video content in over 26TB across six themes. The video content, which has undergone special technology, the latest filming, and artistic processing, will be broadcast 24/7 on Spectacle’s array of 25 LED screens.

The project was created in collaboration with many of the industry’s finest architectural experts, including the Rockwell Group, which created the overall design concept. The LED screen and its image content are co-operated by digital, video, and audio experts such as Obscura Digital, Smart Monkeys Inc, Electrosonic Inc, VER, and LAB of the Rockwell Group.
In addition to the immersive space created by the 1,000-meter ultra-high-definition LED display, there are more than 700 LED lights and more than 130 high-performance speakers in an atrium space.
In addition, there is the world’s largest indoor art garden “Art of Nature”, with more than 100,000 trees and more than 2,000 different plants, including more than 200 kinds of orchids, many of which are native to Macau and Hong Kong. It also planted a variety of plants that were extinct during the 19th and 20th centuries. The seeds were obtained from the seed banks of botanical gardens in Hong Kong and Europe, and after careful care by special personnel, they reappeared in (Vision Plaza).
